About
Big Boom Theory is electrorock with a danceable feel. We need a guitarist (preferably who can sing) and a keyboardist or DJ who can help take our project from the studio to the live stage.
Right now, we have three musicians (vocals/guitar, keytar bass/programming/backing vocals, electronic drums/triggers) and are producing a full length album. Some of those songs are on this site.
We need a second guitarist who can play sparse and funky. Someone who knows when to come in to the mix and when to back out.
BBT writes from an electronic platform first so keyboards primarily hold down the vibe but it really depends on the songs, some tunes are more guitar driven.
Since we practice only once a week, preparation is EVERYTHING.
Our focus right now is writing and recording with the goal of gigging later.
If you want a crowd to do more than just stand there, to dance to music you make, this is your project. Members of Big Boom Theory played Warped Tour in 2009 and have shared the stage with Neon Trees, Unwritten Law, 12 Stones, After Midnight Project, The Lemonheads and Salt Lake favorites Royal Bliss.
