I'm a meat and potatoes bass guitar player and I have decent harmony vocals. I can catch the tenor, baritone or bass harmony. I have a fair amount of experience, but it's been a while since I was in a serious band outside of church. For 12 years I played in the band in my church. We recorded two CD's of mostly Christian contemporary cover music, with a few originals. Past bands I have been involved in in the Augusta area are several incarnations of Third Wish (from 1985 to 1989,) Mizar (1990,) Navigator (1990-1992,) Cherokee Rose (1992-1994,) The Shades Band (1994-1995,) Allen Lowe and Turning Point (1995-1998,) Horse Creek Band (1998-2000,) The Inhibitors (2002-2004,) The Shameless Dave Band, 2005.) I'm looking for like minded folks to put something together with. I have a good job and a family, so I am NOT looking to go fill tilt boogie. I DO want to gig on occasion, perhaps in the biker bar scene, as I am a local biker.
