I have playing and performing in night clubs and Honky Tonks for more than 40 years. I have opened for Linda Ronstadt, Tanya Tucker, Marshall Tucker Band, Little Feat and played on stage with Marval Phelps, Tanya Tucker (when she was 14). I love playing and singing as much as possible. I have had the same groups of guys in Desert Dust for more than 14 years. They are all great musicians and a fun bunch to "make" music with (most anybody can Play music). For a few years I did a Hank Williams tribute and had the pleasure of having Mr. Kenny Dail, who also played with the late Great Hank Williams, accompany me on steel. Kenny played a 1932 Rickenbacker and it was way cool. We were voted the most popular Band on Beach Street USA by more than 80,000 fans for two years is a row. Kenny passed away a few months ago, and I really miss his company and friendship.

Influences
Hank Williams, Hank Thompson, Earnest Tubb, Bob Wills (Tommy Duncan), Louis Armstrong, Jim Reeves, Hank Jr., David Allen Coe, Steve Goodman and Jack Norwood, my Father. Daddy taught how to play guitar and all the old tunes from the 30's and 40's that he used to play as a musician.
