ABOUT

I was born into a family of piano players. My grandmother and mother both played piano and organ in church and my aunt played piano with the gospel quartet, The Jubilaires. I can't remember ever not having a piano and organ in the house.

I applied my skills on the Hammond organ and piano in San Diego, Ca. playing locally with rock and blues bands, but it was in Kansas City, Mo., playing the blues circuit, that I got my true education.
He was mentored by the late great Leon Estelle and Mayfield Towns.
It was while playing with the 8-piece show band, The BWB Band that I toured with the young harmonica sensation, Brody Buster. We travelled the country playing in most major cities as well as appearing on National television and a BBC documentary.

Later, I toured and recorded with the Kansas City Queen of the Blues, Annetta "Cotton Candy" Washington and her band, So Many Men. I co-produced and performed on her debut cd, "They Call Me Cotton Candy".

Also, while playing in Kansas City, I was privileged to have opened for or played with numerous blues legends such as Lonnie Brooks, Mem Shannon, Bo Diddley and Tab Benoit, just to name a few.
I also provided Hammond organ and piano tracks for Linda Shell and the Blues Thang on her cd, “Under the Influence” on the Red Hot Records label.

I moved to San Francisco in 1998 where I performed and recorded with Little Sister and the Bad Intentions. We travelled and performed in California, Nevada, and Oregon. While playing with Little Sister, I was once again privileged to open for or play with such notables as Tommy Castro, Peter Tork, Elvin Bishop and many more.

I moved to Albuquerque, NM in 2007 where I continue to practice my craft.
