We have a sound similar to New Pornographers, The Decemberists, Matthew Sweet, Pretenders, etc. -- basically reverb-drenched jangly guitar and lots of harmonies. We've been described as "dryly peppy... think John Darnielle fronting the Byrds" (the Current) and "jangle that borrows from C86 and the UK scene, but vocally more in line with someone like They Might Be Giants" (The Sound Of Confusion).
We do this because we love it (or have to, like breathing).
