I am primarily a guitarist wanting to start or join a black metal band in the general area surrounding Plano. Began playing guitar 12 years ago, have been getting back into it over the past six months or so after a hiatus.
I have a bit of skill playing bass and am developing my high vocal skills to find a sound that I like. I have planned on writing and recording an album as a solo project but ideally would like to play with a band.
Highest priority is finding a drummer capable of fast tempos, blast beats, double bass, etc. Full band practice not possible at my residence since it is an apartment.
My availability fluctuates depending on my work schedule, which is, however, fairly flexible provided I give notice well in advance.

Influences
Taake, Emperor, Drudkh, Immortal, Darkthrone, Graveland, etc. "Classic" black metal more so than modern. Melodic more so than dissonant.

EQUIPMENT
Main rig is an ESP EX-400 running through a Randall RX120RH half stack, with whatever distortion pedal I feel like using.
My travel rig is an ESP M10 through a Raven RG60 combo.
