Since BandMix only lets me select four genres of music that interest me, I first have to point out that I'd be interested in playing any type of music, depending on the project.
I grew up on punk (melodic 90's style, not the out-of-tune guitars and yelling style) and metal and I've been in many bands in those genres in the past. I'd like to do something new, maybe a little more pop-oriented, but good music is good music, so I don't care what genre it is.
I've played dozens of local gigs throughout the years and have tour experience all throughout the United States. I've been taking guitar lessons for 13+ years and I have some years of vocal lessons under my belt, as well. I can write songs, play lead guitar, sing backups...
I don't consider myself a bass player, but I do have a bass (no amp for gigging, but I'd consider buying one depending on the project) and I can play with a pick fine. I've recorded bass on my own projects in studios and at home.
I'd like to be a career musician, so I'm only interested in serious projects.
