I took piano lessons for about 6 years
I've been playing tenor sax for about 8 years, have gotten several medals and awards for multiple performances.
Self taught vocalist with a varying range. Self taught acoustic guitar, took some lessons in college.
I write my own music/lyrics. Mostly alternative, Indie, and something I like to call gothic-acoustic.
I've only played as a solo act for open mics, Solo & Ensemble, and talent shows. I've never worked with a band, so I don't know if I like being solo or in a band better, however I'm open to trying new things and other styles and genres, and I'm a quick learner.
I'm skillfull at being the main melody as well as being a harmony as far as vocals go. I have no problem singing and playing an instrument simultaneously (mostly guitar and piano).
I'm currently in the process of figuring out how to convert the 8-track files to mp3/other playable file to upload my own music. I don't want to sacrifice the quality of the sound, but if you're interested in hearing anything I can take a quick video/audio sample using my phone.
