I have worked in Austin as a vocal hired gun, off and on for 30 years. 5 years ago I made the lifestyle choice to work on my music full time. Since that time I have performed at over 800 gigs in Austin, Florida and Colorado. After being away for a year I have returned home to Austin and am ready to get to work on a new blues sound in the form of a duo or trio.
When I think of the musicians I would like to work with, the first that comes to mind is a finger style guitarist and a stand up bass but I am completely open to other configurations. My hope is to form a collaborative, close knit group that will evolve into an all original band.

Hosted by The Austin Blues Society, this event will be held at Antone's @ 5th & Lavaca. Doors open at 7pm. We have 9 bands competing for the right to go to Memphis for the International Blues Challenge. I will not be competing but will be there in an official capacity.
5 bucks at the door. Players get in for free. This event is hosted by The Austin Blues Society
