ABOUT

I was born and raised in Ohio, began singing in church when I was young and have a love for a broad range of music (classical, sacred, jazz, big band, classic rock, pop, indie, heavy metal and a lot more). I think that good music is good music, regardless of genre. I have been influenced by and inspired by some incredibly gifted musicians and composers in my family and was drawn to music and theater early in my college years. I run an online vintage music and antique store and try to do mostly what I love every day. My emotional connection to the music and lyrics that move me comes from many life experiences, most profoundly, the loss of my wife to cancer at a young age. I would love nothing more than to get up every day looking forward to singing in the studio or performing onstage. I am currently lead vocalist for a contemporary Christian band, Fire Within, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Toledo, Ohio.
