Singer songwriter, have about 100 songs 50/50 original-cover. I had my own band in the early 80's and we were kind of on the edge of getting fairly regional in some gigs. While I'm not looking to play a gig or two it's not on my radar as I still work full time and have another hobby that takes some of my time.

Influences
Hey I'm 61, I grew up in the 60-70's. Bands I love include Crowded House, The Smithereens, Steve Earle, The Beatles but not Zeppelin (unless it's Dread Zeppelin) ... not a metal guy or fan of blues... while I admire Stevie Ray Vaughn I'm not the guy who will actively pursue blues, metal, the likes of Zeppelin...

EQUIPMENT
I own my own building with a room full of p.a. and equipment... I have everything I need. I have my own amps (Mesa) and have a bass rig and set up... I played saxophone from grade school through college. I am self taught and started on bass guitar before I started playing guitar. I have a drum set too for auditions and have a drummer I play with that also works full time...we've been trying to get together about once a week in Weatherford
