Started playing drums at age 10. Drummer in many top bands in the Western Mass. area, including many years with the house bands at the renowned Eastover Resort. Also toured and recorded with jazz/rock guitarist Joe Beck. Original "Product Close-Up" columnist for Modern Drummer magazine for 10 years, as well as writing for other music publications. Later, Artist Relations & Marketing Manager for Sonor Drums for six years. Playing experience covers the spectrum from rock, pop, jazz, funk, big band, blues, musical theater and more. Over 2200 gigs plus numerous recording sessions. Recent bands include After Dark, Shakedown, Forrest McDonald & The Blues Train, The English Channel, Big Ray & The Kool Kats, The Groove Motive, The Wrest, Tammi Kamin Band, Dr. Grin. Currently, with blues band Tough Deal and wedding/corporate band Elegance. Available for projects, gigs, tours, and sessions anywhere in the world.
