Fully equipped, we are 3 guitars, a bass player, drummer, and a frontman with two backing vocals. We have only been to together as a crew for about six months but have already done two fairly large event shows with sets ranging from 2 to 3 hours.

We are pretty much an in your face alternative rock band. 12-Stones, Submersed, Breaking Benjamin, Foo Fighters, Trapt, 3Doors Down, 3Days Grace, Veer Union, etc., and originals. We do some lighter classic stuff as well but try to focus on the now. Our original work is fairly technical with a hard hitting melodic bite but our target is to maintain a darker heavier overtone.

We are not rock stars, so we aren't looking for a look....we are looking for a sound. A couple of us have done the dirtbag club thing and aren’t too excited about gigging around 3-4 nights a week waking up in rat infested puke holes but once in a while isn't bad just to get that nasty familiar taste back in your mouth.

We all have stable work other than music but we are very serious and accomplished players, nonetheless.

Simply put, we want to invade the Central California event scene as a premier alternative rock band. Our calendar will ultimately include one to two gigs per month focussing on large events, outdoor/indoor shows, concerts, etc. Make no misake about it, we are a project in transition and we are taking our time to do it right. Currently, we are in the process of creating a promo package and website, etc. (www.bornbetty.com). Planning, production, marketing, and scheduling take time, so if you’re in it for the short haul to earn money…..then don't waste your time.

We recently started researching quality sound systems (passive only, of course) and will be piecing together a premium live kit with a pro desk and processor components as we move forward. So, a sound engineer is probably in our future (we don't want to have to rely on house gear and we don't want to rent or subcontract sound).

We’re looking for serious only, professional, like-minded people to invest their time and talent into rounding out a powerhouse project that will emerge as a top name in the region.

We're musicians. So, we share a passion for the music and consider contracts and dollars a byproduct....not necessarily a goal.

Absolutely NO BS, NO BURNOUTS, No freakshows. Our regimen includes strict once/week practice and homework in between (we expect a commitment to learning several pieces in any given week, including originals).

We need one serious/dedicated drummer and one serious/dedicaed frontman. Interested drummers MUST be solid in the pocket and MUST be dead on with chops. Inerested singers don't need to have stage experience, per se, but you MUST have the chops and MUST be able to handle the front. No screamers. You have to have talent (learned or natural). We don't mind working with someone that has the right attitude and ability but we prefer someone that can jump in, pick up just about anything, and contribute immediately wihout too much effort.

We are sponsored by our own production company so most of our management responsibilities are shared. We are currently looking for a rehearsal studio and players must be willing to share rent.

In the end, we're just like you. We grew up in the garage and we've done the parties and bars but now we're committed to developing a quality professional project and we're ready to take it to a much higher level.
