ABOUT
After many years of working for the company store I'm finally able to revisit the notion of getting together with some folks and doing some vocals.
At first, I'd like to get together with some folks in my age group, perhaps do some A Capella and harmonies. Then, it would be fun to see how things evolve with the addition of a few instruments.
At this juncture, I'm more about having fun to see how things evolve before I take a more serious approach.

Influences
My musical influences are varied, but the two most influential musicians were my late father and, now, my aging grandmother. Both played honky-tonk gospel blues, R & B, etc.
Additionally, I'd have to say some of my all time favorites are Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Sinatra, O.V. Wright, Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, Kool and the Gang, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many others. I also have a bit of a passion for some theatrical music.
Though it may seem that my interests are very eclectic, my primary influences are R & B.

For the time being, it's me, myself, and I. I can bring myself, my voice, my water jug, and a few snacks to show up for a jam session.
