The first song = 12345, is a song that I wrote. I performed all of the guitar parts, bass, and the Vocals. My good friend Marty McCray performed the drum tracks and recorded it for me in his studio.
The second song that I've uploaded is an original of mine ( I colaborated with my previous singer,as far as writting the vocals ). The first song that I uploaded is the first song that I'm working on for my new CD, it isn't finished but I've been getting requests for something more to listen to so I put this up untill I get the finished version. I wtote the song myself, and played all the guitars, the bass, and did the vocals. The drums were performed by my good friend Marty McCray un his studio. So untill I can finish more of my original tunes, and get them uploaded, this can give you an idea of my writting, as well as solo work.
I am looking for an established band primarily, but if you are a strong singer (male or female), maybe we could put a band together.... together ? (finding a good back up band for us would be no problem), or you could just include me in your thang. If you can sing like Kenny Wayne Shepherd's vocalist, or like Susan Tedeschi or Joan Osbourne, definately get ahold of me !
Over the years I have played every genre of music that has come along, including all forms of rock, Fusion, funk & R&B, even did a stint in a country band ( a "short" stint). I have played live on TV, the Radio, way to many bars, festivals, done studio work, and was in a band that got sighned to a recording contract. I have allways been a Blues player first and formost though, Eric Clapton was the man who's playing grabbed ahold of me and forced me to play my first Solo. I am not really into playing much of the old "Blind Mellon Chitlen" style of the blues. You know, the typical "SHUFFLE"..., every song is the same tempo and feel..., just a different key and diferent lyrics !!!! I prefer the more up tempo, rocken, "Texas" style blues and would be happy in a situation with a strong singer ( male or female ), tight and adventurous rhythm section, and someone who can do the old school hamond B-3, and some honky tonk piano on a sweet southern "Blue Eyed Soul" ballad. I am looking to get into something that's allready established, but if you are putting something together and it has potential, let me know about it. My email address is Bpguitardeamon@ ,if you want to contact me directly. I am also in the process of establishing a "myspace" page = myspace.com/BruceWayneShort . Thanx for you attention.
