I am a 26 year-old vocalist (primary) and piano player (secondary), looking to get performing again.

I mainly sing pop and country (see influences for the styles of music I listen to and sing). I am okay at jazz and can do oldies, but definitely not strong at heavy rock or metal, punk, alternative, ska, funk, soul/R&B, stuff like that.

I have done some professional and semi professional on-going gigs in the past, and am looking to collaborate with musicians or bands in anyway (singing lead, backups, as a duo, start a band, join a band, do live sound mixing, songwriting, etc) and just immerse myself in music again.

I was in a 6-person vocal band (a cappella, just voices) for 2.5 years and we had gigs about once a month, and got a gig performing on a cruise ship for 6 months. Other than that, growing up I did a lot of theatre and musicals, so I performed on stage in that environment, and did lots of singing contest. I think my ideal performing scenario is to either be an acoustic duo or trio thing, making some beautiful music with guitars, piano, and vocals all blending together, or in a full band setting singing lead to a lot of country and pop covers and originals too.

I moved to Nashville in August 2014, and I am loving all the connections and relationships I am making here so far!

I went to two music schools. Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, MN. I studied music production, so I spent about 90 percent of my time in the 9 different recording studios we had, learning about recording, mixing, mastering, mics, equipment, gear, the whole process, working with artists, and pretty much anything that relates to work in a studio. I also took classes on songwriting, arranging, music publishing, some performing classes, film scoring, but again, the majority of my classes and time were in the studio.
