SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Trumpet, Saxophone, Keyboard, Piano, Background Singer, Harmonica, Fiddle, Trombone, Steel guitar.ABOUT
I'm a bassist in need of a new project. I'm classically trained and have a solid grasp of music theory, can read musical notation as well as your every-day lead sheets and pages full of changes.
I started out playing classic jazz (real book stuff), shifted to rock in college, and have run through just about every genre since. I am most comfortable with rock/blues/funk but tend to slide in other influences no matter what I'm playing.
I have reliable transportation and a solid rig (see below for specifics) and am looking for a steadily gigging group, or at the very least one that gets out of the practice space every once in a while. I have a career elsewhere, so I'm not really looking for a group looking to tour nationally or anything big like that. I just like to gig.

Old recording from an old band, but that's little ol' me on bass and doing a few of the backup vocals.
