im new to washington. ive been playing guitar for 10 years and music in general for longer. i dabble in a little bit of everything but i dont consider myself to know how to "play" an instrument until ive gotten somewhere close to mastering it. im one of those do it yourself musicians where if i need a certain instrument or part on a track, i learn it and play it myself. though i do believe strongly in the sort of creativity that comes from multiple musicians collaborating on an almost telepathic wavelength. and thats the kind of thing im looking for on this site. when it comes to music, i take myself and my art pretty seriously. ill re-record something a billion times if that what it takes to make it perfect. no shortcuts. i want to start writing new material and playing shows in the area and i definitely could use the help of a likeminded fellow musician. i mainly sing and play acoustic for what im working on now and am looking for 1 to 2 people who also play guitar and are preferably multi talented when it comes to music i.e. banjo, horns, percussion, vocals, etc. weird instruments are double points. i intend on being successful in this industry and im not gonna do it copying anybody else or making any deals or shortcuts so if you feel the same way than we should definitely jam out. i live in a house in Poulsbo that doubles as the location of my roommates company Stag Media. Me and my roommates met while attending Full Sail University in Orlando, so all of the people in the house work in the industry. Needless to say, it makes it the ideal location for recording, jamming, business, marketing, graphic design, whatever. it is CRITICAL that any guitarists contacting me be at an advanced level in their playing and serious to start writing, recording, and playing shows asap
