Studied a semester of music theory. I'm more or less a rhythm player. I've been writing my own stuff for about 8 years. Most of it is Blues. I'm originally from Baltimore & I had a friend collaborate with me that is one of the most incredible slide players you'll never see. Most of my original stuff was recorded with him on my 2 track. I'm a lefty & have 2 acoustics & 2 electric guitars. I usually have one of each guitar where I tune both of the E strings down to D. It's pretty different & works great with Blues. I also have harmonicas, a keyboard & some percussion stuff but no drum kit..

Jimmy buffet, Jackson Brown, C S N & Y, Eagles, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, John Mayall, Rory Gallagher, Elmore James Robben Ford, Wes Montgomery, & if I went on with this you'd fall asleep. I listen to just about anything but opera.I grew up with music surrounding me. My folks listened to Big Band Music, my uncle was into the cool 50's stuff & Jazz, my older sisters Motown, folk & the British Invasion. What I really want is some into lead guitar & maybe keyboards to write more music. I love a good jam session. I may do a band if the situation is right.
