About
Updated 7-21-2012. I'm just a very decent bass player with a great attitdude.
I don't mind playing covers, but please, show some creativity and originality.
If Mustang Sally or Sweet Home Alabama is on your list, I'm not your man.
I have my own list of material that is quite eclectic and definitely reflects my "Boomer" age.
But i'm also opened minded enough to know that "You can't always get what you want" and will always listen to what other people are into.
I don't mind practice and never miss a scheduled rehearsal.
I'll jam with most anyone as long as you're fairly competent. I'm serious about my playing, but find it's just as important to be with people you get along with, want to have fun making music with, than how many years you've been playing or how many gigs you've played.
Playing out is definitely on the charts, but i'm not going to play every 1-4-5 to see how fast I can get out.
I like to have fun but please, whether you join me in my project or I join in your group, be serious about committing your time to practice or rehearsal or this just won't work.

Influences
I'm influenced and enlightened every time I learn to play a new song.
I'm also influenced in some degree by everyone I meet and play with.
I think you should try to learn something or get better each time you pick up your instrument.
I tend to practice 3-4 times a week and tend to play more classic rock and some light jazz but I like everything from blues, motown and funk. I'm not much into hip hop, head banging, screamers or southern rock..not to be confused with country rock.
I definitely do not have your standard Fender sound. I try to have my own style, my own sound and play off the guitar as much as the drums and contribute rhythmatically.
I can even add vocals on those songs that fit my voice.

The zip and area code are Broward, but I'm located in Boca.
