Bruja (pronounced "Brew-Ha”), is a Delray Beach, Florida musical outfit that blends Rock, Reggae, Blues and Funk to create a Feel Good Vibe that you must experience.
The band is led by Colombian born singer-songwriter, Jorge "Bruja" Zarruk. The English translation for "Bruja" is "Witch". The name originated as a nickname Jorge obtained growing up a teenage surfer in El Salvador, where his family moved when he was an infant.
Songs like "Tomorrow Never Comes", a Reggae-Rock fusion with Jerry Garcia influenced guitar work, or "Jack Daniel’s Blues", an earthy Blues-Rock tune about enjoying the simple things in life, have become crowd favorites.
All in all, Bruja is a band you will appreciate if you like musical diversity. Whether you like Blues, Rock, Reggae and/or Funk, Bruja will have something for you if you come to check out a show.
