Hello,
My name is Jessica Parker. I'm currently a volunteer project fundraiser for Random Acts Hope 2 Haiti. Random Acts sends 25 volunteer to Jacmel, Haiti from June 14-22 to continue building a children's center. While in Jacmel, the volunteers also participate in creative and recreational activities with the Haitian children.
I'm currently planning with a few others a benefit concert to be held tentatively May 5, 2012. All proceeds of the concert would be donated to Hope 2 Haiti. We are looking for band and acts to perform at our concert which we will be entitling a Spring Concert Series.
Since this is a charitable event, we ask that all acts/performers volunteer their services. We hope to offer a variety of performers for all age groups. We would ask that performers prepare a half hour to one hour set. All equipment must be provided by the performer. We will be selling tickets to the event and opening it up to the community.
All groups wanting to participate are asked to sign a performance agreement.
