I play in the band Fat Monkey( guitar@ keys mostly) and The Band Of Love (Drums, bass and some lead guitar). I have played guitar since as early as i can remember, also adding drums and keyboards to my reperitore a little later in my musical journey, coming from a very musical family.
I love to play classic stuff like zepplin, whitesnake,Van Halen, Rush, Kansas, Def Leppard, Winger, just great guitar rock, but i can be coaxed into some Earth wind and fire, Chic, even disco stuff very easily. I have all the gear i need and a group of players ready to play. Would be interested in auditioning a vocalist/ utility player to share in lead vocal duties and possibly play some guitar or bass with the classic rock band Fat Monkey. This is a top notch rock group of musicians. The ultimate would be to be able to write some tunes as well somewhere along the path not really alternative based more old school style. many. The apologetics. great christian band who writes christian lyrics to secular songs. i like stuff like zepplin, whitesnake, Rush Extreme,Boston, Def leppard, Winger,Aerosmith, lenny kravitz, any great guitar rock from the 70's and 80's, really. also stuff like The fratellis, jet, maroon 5 jamaraqui, earth wind and fire, Chic, etc. really any good bands. not big on alternative styles though.
