ABOUT CALIE COX: “Home-grown” in Sacramento, CA, a multi-talent who plays Keyboards, Bass, Lead Guitar, Drums and possesses a truly individual singing style with an incredible vocal range. He founded three original bands: "CRYSTAL SPHERE" at age 16 with Mark Curry; Virgin Records recording artist-to-be and Aaron "El Hefe" Abeyta now the current Lead guitarist & Trumpet player of the world famous punk band "NOFX", next "PIRANHA" from (1985-1989) featuring the original drummer of "Tesla"; Bobby Contreras" and Joel Krueger who is the current Bassist of Frank Hannon's solo project "Kaleidoscope" and finally Calie's first successful Independent project "THE BIG BANG!" between (1989-1995), who had two songs make airplay in "A" and “B” rotations at 93Rock locally in hometown Sacramento,CA.

Calie recorded two original albums in the 90's and has two current projects up for sale late 2008. His solo effort "OBVIOUS" and his latest project "TWO WORLDS" by "THE TEMPLE OF NOW" which has been recorded with friend & Engineer/Keyboardist Dave Baxley.

No "Cover Band Only" or "Back-up Player" calls please. I am first and foremost an original Lead Vocalist/Songwriter/Multi-instrumentalist in that order of importance to myself. Everything else is a waste of time for both you and I if this is not the priority of things. If you are willing and competent, this could lead you to a lucrative career. I already have worldwide distribution and a European promoter, All I need now are great musicians to fill the band out, and people who write their own music.

Mostly Heavy Rock bands like Queensryche, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Metallica, Dio, Pink Floyd, Yes, Yngwie Malmsteen, Queen, Steve Vai And lots of newer Alternative/Modern rock like 30 Seconds to Mars, Fall Out Boy, Adam Lambert, Disturbed, etc.... I prefer to play ALL originals in my projects, and I have 2 worldwide releases already under my belt. our band is working on the 3rd release right now and we NEED another Guitarist or Bassist IMMEDIATELY! I am doing this full time, so I am always available. The band rehearses here where I live in Madison, near Hamilton. (Colgate College area.)
