I am putting together a band to compete in the Texaco Country Showdown this Spring. My style is contemporary country (cross-over country that has some pop in it) and some songs have a jazzy swing to them. I like to do a lot of uptempo country rock songs. I wrote the song I want to compete with, I just need a band to back me up and I want to find people that we could form a lasting band with to gig with and grow with. I'm willing to travel if necessary to build a platform for the band.
