I am naturally an alto and I've been told I remind people of Elisa Martin of Dark Moor. I can do death growls, but I will only do them for studio stuff because it really damages my voice.
I currently do death growls for my fiance's funeral doom death side project and backing vocals when neeeded for his power metal band.
I have only been taking vocal lessons for a short period of time, but I took guitar lessons for about 2.5 years. I personally don't think I'm the best guitarist, but I could probably do rhythm. I'd prefer to do vocals for a band that's goal is to get signed (or already is) and is very committed and plans on touring.
I will sing power, trash, speed, and/or doom for live stuff.
I will sing black and/or death for studio stuff only!
I will not sing for any alternative, emo, or punk bands!
