Hood Community College before going on the road to pursue my dream of being a Professional Musician. After a year on the road with a show band I moved to San Francisco, California to continue that pursuit.
As a full time working musician I have averaged 300 gigs per year for over three decades!
A member of the 5 time Grammy nominated Smooth Jazz group Second Nature from 2001 through 2004 the band was featured on the 2001 Jazziz Magazine Jazz sampler along with an all star cast including Miles Davis, Chick Corea, Marcus Miller, and Spyro Gyra.
As a sideman my credits include working with Stanley Jordan, James Burton, Les McCann the Coasters and the Platters, Doug Ellington (Dukes' nephew), Tuck and Patti, Jules Broussard, Tommy Castro, Kit Walker, Danny Hull (Doobie Brothers), Norbert Satchel And Tom Politser (Tower Of Power), Bud E Luv. . In the Northwest I have worked with Lloyd Jones, Soul Vaccination, Lee Wuthenow, Johny Martin, Noah Peterson, the Rubes, Neal Grandstaff, the Wise Guys, Sumo and the Ward Stroud Band.
As an instrumentalist and band leader fluent in styles ranging from Jazz, Funk, Rock and Blues through Pop, Country and Ethnic I have toured the United States several times.
With my own group the Dirty Side Blues Band I have shared stages with Legends such as Paul Butterfield, Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Jimmy Witherspoon, Paul Rogers, Robin Trower, Elvin Bishop and Buzzy Feiton.
