I have been playing in the Northern Utah area for a few years now, and have covered most areas of the musical spectrum. My former band, Joe Soul, developed a great reputation for filling seats and rocking the joint up, and I still play acoustic throughout the Ogden-Salt Lake region. I would love to form a band that concentrated on the older R&B sound, jazz flavors, and soul grooves- while incorporating sounds that change up the monotony. Maybe some banjo. Possibly some accordion. Anything is open.

Nearly every musician I've met wants to form a rock band, but hopefully I can find a few like-minded individuals with some experience in those specific genres- however, anyone interested is encouraged to let me know. If we decided to make it permanent, shows will be booked in both Ogden and Salt Lake City ,as I've kept my connections, and everyone is always looking to put out a different sound. Well there it is.. I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears. Contact me if interested.

Influences

Otis Redding, Amos Lee, Al Green, The Commodores, Ray LaMontagne, he Black Keys, Roberta Flack, Marvin Gaye, John Legend, Donny Hathaway, Prince, Isaac Hayes, Deangelo, Bill Withers, Raphael Sadiq, Smokey.. I would also love to incorporate different elements from all genres to tweak the traditional sound.
