About

I am a professional musician seeking a versatile, creative and talented drummer with background vocal skills who is interested in becoming a part of an original rock band. I have a fully produced CD that I worked on with my producer for 2 years. It was released in October of 2010 and it is currently available on iTunes and is on Pandora Radio. In January of 2010, I put this band together in anticipation of the release and to begin promoting the music. I perform solo, with my guitarist and with a full band.

We play primarily my original music with a few added rock covers to entice listeners. I cover people like Adele, Melissa Etheridge, Sheryl Crow, Patti Griffin and KT Tunstall to name a few.
My current drummer is moving out of state and I am looking for someone with amazing chops and creativity to replace him. He has a degree in percussion and studio music so his replacement needs to be equally competent. He will be involved in the audition process.

I need a drummer who is:

Right now, we rehearse in Marengo, IL when needed to develop new material and do any touch up work for upcoming full band shows. We do not learn material in rehearsals, we polish. Charts and recordings will be provided. You will be responsible to learn all of my material on your own.
I manage the calendar online and each member is responsible for keeping their block dates up to date.
Pay is based on the venue/event. I do provide a small expense stipend for any gigs that are for purely promotion purposes or donation.
