ABOUT

Hello my name is Celene and I'm an LA based rock musician. I can play guitar, bass and sing a variety of genres, including death metal. If you want a growler, I can growl, I spent two years in a death metal band but I do happen to know how to sing as well! I am a mezzo-soprano so therefore my range is infinite, if you have something in mind I will do a test run for you. Don't be afraid to ask, if you are curious, I will accept a challenge. My main influences are heavy metal or rock based, but I enjoy all types of music so there is always a place for the new and bizarre. I'm also a writer (not just lyrics, I write prose and novels) so I can write lyrics for new bands looking for a vocalist or writing help.

GORE VS CORE. Don't contact me if you are a deathcore band, I don't believe in that break down two stepping crap. A pit is for moshing and fsu, not dancing. I'm pretty open but when I say metal I mean metal, not (poser)core.

(As far as vocals go, Angela Gossow and Per Yngve Ohlin for growling and other singers I dig are Layne Staley and Phil Anselmo) Megadeth, Pantera, Celtic Frost, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Destruction, Kreator, Sodom, Skid Row, Bauhaus, Mayhem, Gang of Four, Mazzy Star, Alice in Chains, AC/DC, Babes in Toyland, Black Flag, Sex Pistols, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Joy Division, Judas Priest...and the list goes on! My singing style is open, I look to the music for a particular inspiration.
