ABOUT

I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music and located in the Atlanta area. I started out playing piano at about the age of five and continued to take piano lessons off and on until the age of seventeen. I started playing drums when I was thirteen and chose to make that the instrument I would focus on. I have been in a few bands starting during my time at Berklee. The Mike Willis Band, a short-lived band called Kushion, and, most recently, a band in Myrtle Beach, SC called Painted Man. The highest profile gig that I've had was playing with the singer Patti Austin. I played with her off and on from 2002-2005. (The owner at the club I played at in Myrtle Beach would not allow me to tour with Ms. Austin.) I have played with various artists around the city of Atlanta, including: Mose Davis, William Green, Rita Graham, Maria Howell, Gary Land, Theresa Hightower, Milkshake, Toni Redd, Tom Woods, Toni Byrd and Neal Wauchope. I am also capable of singing lead and or background vocals. I am currently looking to play with gifted musicians of like mind.
