Songwriter/Guitarist searching for singer in the Greater NYC Area. If you play an instrument, awesome, but if not, no worries. I have a group of musicians along with me that include a bass player, drummer, and second guitarist. We all have plenty of experience, but believe that songwriting in this group should be a collaboration between all members, and that includes the vocals. Therefore, we are searching for the someone who has a good range in their voice and is open to playing several different types of music.

Influences

Influences are irrelevant with this group, because we all have different interests/favorites when it comes to music type. Not to mention, we do not sound like our "influencers." However, our style of playing and "sound" has been linked to groups like Death Cab for Cutie, Modest Mouse (the old stuff, not "Float On"), Mogwai, and Album Leaf. While those bands differ in music-type, we have a few "sounds" that we are messing around with. We are a group that builds well off of each other, and we really need someone who can place lyrics along with our tunes. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to growing as a group, along with the other members.
