Lead Guitar Player/Singer, formerly of DangerBoy,Inside Straight, Rhaven,etc...Looking for a few good musicians who can sing, backup at least, and actually play their instruments at the same time. I am COMPLETELY out of patience with "musicians" trying to work out their parts at rehearsal. I am putting together a cover band with strong harmonies and killer musicianship. That's right I said it COVER BAND!!!! ( I also have originals, and am willing to write with my band, but that's for later, AFTER we get this thing up and running ).
I have a list of about 25-30 songs already in place, and will expect you to learn what's on that list, then will take input from other band members. I am not a tyrant, or nazi, I just know what I want to do, and know how to get it done. I just don't have time to argue over a songlist (This of course wouldn't apply if I were to join a band that was already formed...). I will play anything you want to play within reason and within my abilities, and expect my band to do the same for me.
I am also NOT into spending months and months in the basement rehearsing. I am about getting it together, and getting out there and playing. I am connected, and know how to get work. Besides, you just don't really get tight as a band until you've been playing out for awhile, anyway.
If you see my list, and are thinking about asking to drop any of the songs, keep steppin. I don't have time to argue about it. Play my material, and we'll play yours too. So, PLEASE don't waste my time. I play this stuff right, and expect the same from my musicians.

And don't let the tone of this ad scare you. I'm no nonsense, and totally focused, but pretty mellow. I just want my feelings and expectations to be known up front, so there are no questions later. I'm just looking for some good like minded musicians to work with.
Also, I will try and upload some mp3s ( recorded in my own home studio ) to this site, but till then, I will send you some via email ( more pics, too ), along with my list upon request.
