Gospel Recording Artist Marquiece Riley officially known as "Chief" with relentless faith is impacting a dying generation with the word of God through song and rap.Born and raised in Grand Rapids,MI,he has been blessed with a beautiful and 4 lovely children who he loves with all his heart.
Chief believes that there is one true God which is the lord Jesus Christ, and that he is the only way to true salvation. At age 19 he became a licensed minister and has ministered revivals, performed at various concerts and shows. Chief has been interviewed guest at TCT Network and local radio stations, where his music has aired live. Since then Chief has been making power moves for Christ.
Chief is now putting together a documentary called , "Before I get there". It includes him and his courageous journey through destiny to success in the music industry. He makes it known that so many people wait until after they've achieved success to write a book or movie, He quotes: "I'm doing it in the midst of becoming successful, kind of like prophesying my future".
Having written, directed, and edited the heart grabbing movie, (From Boys 2 Men) Chief has once again proven talented and faithful. The vision he holds is one of high standard displaying the heart of God to a world that rejects it from a real vibrant point of view.
Thus achieving the successful person Christ desires him to be.
Chief quotes the scripture, "Many are called, but few are chosen" Chief believes he is among the chosen , a true diamond in the ruff. Many have said the music he writes is the real deal, has opened their eyes, and has stopped them from hurting. Chief gives a new feel to Gospel Rap.
Currently Chief is working on his first project, The Potters House, which he feels will breathe life into a dying generation and launch his career into full time ministry.
