I have 30 years of part-time experience as a vocalist.I am dedicated to the traditional and contemporary MBP ofBrazil...expecially the works of Jobim Gilberto Powell Bonfa...I sing inportugese and play cuica, birimbau, and other brazillian percussion. worked recently in a bateria named Samba Ja...for 5 years as cuica player. Now work with a Columbian guitarist and we do beautiful accoustic arrangements of powell and others from latin americas.

Influences:

Matisse - Chagall - Robert Doisneau - miles davis...anything brazillian...the music of the 40s...cole porter... also....any world percussion. i like to mix it up. just did a great arrangement of In the still of the night by porter in 9...with didgeridoo bass trapset vocals and sax... i call upon all the arts....my music is very visual in the sense the you can see the pictures when i sing... my voice is a gift. ive spent 30+years developing it...i adore percussion.. my day job which is arranging flowers is also about making music...just in a different way,,,,
