Well equipped multi-percussionist wanting to play seasoned musicians. Currently playing as a percussionist for hire. A gig here, a session there, or if I dig the band enough and the tour is big enough, I would consider retirement from my day job.
References available on request.
Need a big stage; my percussion kit takes up as much real estate as a full drum kit. There are a lot of stages too small for the addition of a percussionist.
Don't need or care to be a regular band member, prefer being called in for those times when the stage and the crowd is big enough to justify the addition of a percussionist.
Will gladly learn your band's material, stops and nuances ahead of time in preparation for the big event, percussionizing from your CDs (this is an excellent way to cop your groove and develop artistic percussions for your music without wasting your time or mine).
If you are local to the Huntsville Alabama area, I can also practice some, but prefer to have had the opportunity to see your live show and study your music from your recordings, so I can show up with already-been-tried-out and worked out ideas.
If you also play latin percussion instruments, and want to get together to play some folkloric music, contact me: tele_bubba at yahoo dot com
