Sam Carroll is the instrumentalist of the band. His talent is a unique association between the keyboards, piano and Hammond organ. His writing style is on an epic scale with a musical symmetry that inspires great visions for the listener.

Born in 1982 and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Sam started playing the piano at the age of three. He acquired his first keyboard at the age of five. His experience started in the sixth grade when he was asked to play for the church during worship services.
After playing in a number of church programs in the Little Rock area, Sam soon realized that his true calling was to expand his understanding of music.

Sam then became interested in Jazz and its harmonies. Sam’s style of playing
drastically changed bringing him in to the presence of great men. Having excelled
highly in Theory and Jazz Theory, Sam was able to take his playing to a new level
unlike that which Arkansas has been accustom.

Throughout his time in Arkansas Sam played in various original bands. Many of these original bands produced their own projects. Later, Sam moved to Lexington, KY to play and record with the Central Kentucky Mass Choir. While in Lexington, Sam was
able to collaborate with many national Gospel artists and musicians. Through devoted
practice and faithful relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, Sam’s playing had excelled to even newer heights.

Sam has since returned to Little Rock, AR and is currently playing keys for Rodney Block Project and has worked on stage and/or in the studio with Fred Houston &
Promise, Broderick Daniels, Brian Cole, Bethany Divine, Central Kentucky Mass Choir
and legendary Rodney Bryant, Fred Hammond, among others.
