Band to Join, Bass Guitar.

ABOUT

I just picked up my guitars again after taking a long break. I kind of burned out on playing in some cover bands and a few jam bands that never really gelled.. Before that all original bands, acoustic and electric based. I have a friend that is a very good drummer and a laid back Bass player would get us playing again on weekends and or maybe after work some nights. Both of us have day jobs and a life outside music so someone our age with the same going on would work, that said we won’t rule anyone out due to age within reason. Rich and I have been playing together in different bands for about 17 years, we have written, recorded and gigged locally.. What we play is up in the air and I never know how to explain our interests as they change, for Rich; Dispatch, Guster, 80’s and 90s rock to name a few… For me; specific Classic rock, Pink Floyd, Petty, Jam bands, GSW, Phish, Toad, JT, and originals.
We are not looking to play out at least not right away, especially after the long break we have taken. We just want to get together with a competent bassist and see what happens, come up with some songs to cover, jam a bit and see if it grows… We both have a lot of gear and places to play…
