I'm into all sorts of music, but I would say that the music I write is a cross between 60's rock and roll and pop/punk. I.E. It's somewhat simple, poppy, with a little bit of an edge and sometimes has faster punkish drumbeats. I don't want to be limited however, and I hope to find people who can contribute to the songwriting process.
As far as a band, I'm hoping to find people in their 20's or 30's who are talented, but don't want to make this their entire life. I'm in my late 20s and have played in bands before, but I have a career, home and family. I hope to practice once a week, play shows on a monthly basis, and record some of the stuff when we have time and money. If we became a local staple that could make a meaningful contribution to the local music scene, that would be awesome.
