ABOUT

I'm a guitarist who is looking to start a band in Portland. I moved up here from Albuquerque NM in 2014 and have been busy working on finishing up my undergraduate degree. Now that I'm nearing the end of college I'd like to shift my focus back to music. My plan is to get some sort of day job to pay the bills while I take a crack at this whole "being a musician" thing. I'd like to try to take the band as far as possible and hopefully make a career out of in the process.

I've been playing guitar for a great many years now and have gotten to the point where I like to think I know what I'm doing. I understand basic theory and how to incorporate it into songs. I also have a plethora of unused riffs and lyrics that haven't yet been able to see the light of day due to the fact that every group I've played with hasn't made it beyond the occasional jam session.

I don't know what else to write other than the fact that I'm willing to dedicate myself to the music and hopefully be able to make a living at the same time.

I also have a 100-watt Fender combo amp, but it's currently stuck in NM because, like an idiot, when I moved here I decided that clothes were more important than an amp. I turns out it's quite an ordeal to move a 2x12 combo amp 1,200 miles, so I won't be able to get it up here until June 2016.
