I've been playing guitar for roughly 2 and a half years, taking lessons since about month 4. I also played drums starting at age 8, taking lessons for 4 years, playing for 6. I don't play drums very much, if at all any more though.

I live in Sanbornton, which is right next to Tilton.
My dad and I run an unofficial studio business called Exit 21 Sound.
I play on a weekly basis at my church and youth group band. I go to Oasis Christian Church in Concord. My dad and I also run sound for our church, youth group, and several other bands such as Borderline Eleven and My Migrant Soul.

I also have several side groups such as:

Oasis Collective- a Contemporary Alternative Christian Rock cover band

Alone Together- a two piece, mostly acoustic writing partnership

My Migrant Soul- An Alternative Folk Rock outfit. I play electric guitar (lead and rhythm), acoustic guitar, bass, piano, organ, keyboard, and various other instruments in this.

Refuge Band- My youth group's three-piece band. We play mostly "old school" Christian Rock music like Audio Adrenaline, Newsboys, etc. I sing and play guitar and piano.

Church Band- I play lead guitar

I have also attended one Summer Guitar Session at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. I received a small scholarship for that from the Great Waters Music Festival. I will also be attending the brand new Camp Electric in Nashville, TN.

I am looking to join or form a Christian band that fuses the sounds of The Mars Volta, Mute Math, U2, Don Chaffer, Ben Harper, Switchfoot and most any Alternative Christian Contemporary band (Jars of Clay, Leeland, Hillsong, etc.)

Equipment List:

I have 3 electric guitars:

American Special Mahogany HSS Strat (My main guitar)
Danelectro 56-U2 (My secondary/backup/alternate tuning guitar)
A cheap Ibanez Gio (my first guitar. I don't use it much)

For pedals, I have:

Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer (used as a clean boost or separate distortion)
Ernie Ball Volume Pedal
Line 6 Tone Core Echo Park

Occasionally I'll plug into a Korg Ampworks unit or a Digitech RP350.

I use a 1x12 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.

My acoustic is a Fender JG-26SCE Acoustic-Electric, inherited with some history.

I frequently use a slide, though I don't claim to have any knowledge on how to play with one.
