I have been playing guitar for about twenty years, self-taught, and most of that time acoustic and casually learning. I have excellent feel for my instrument, and can easily adapt to different styles, but I'm not a technical speed shredder.
Until recently I was in a Boulder based 80's cover band. It was tremendous fun, very fulfilling. One day everybody just quit. I was pissed. My primary mission is to rebuild a new band, and I am seeking like minded musicians who would be interested in being part of a high energy, tight, fun and exciting 80's cover band to work, gig and grow.
I am not interested in covering all the most obvious hits. I'm more interested in covering lesser known favorites. A variety of synth pop, new wave, and guitar rockers.
If this does not come together, I am secondarily interested in joining any musical outfit as a guitarist. I have my interests, but feel free to contact me if you need a guitarist and we can talk.
I am no bullsh*t, mature, responsible, reliable, upbeat.

80's: Duran Duran, Pat Benatar, David Bowie, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, The Police, Michael Jackson, Psychedelic Furs, Bryan Adams, The Cars, AC/DC, Van Halen, Ratt, Til Tuesday, Modern English, Flock of Seagulls. Depeche Mode, Culture Club, Blondie, Billy Idol and many more.
Lots of other stuff too, but mostly rock, or tight synthy pop. Not too into bluegrass, alternative, country, metal.
