I am an older professional drummer, and I am looking to find equally older musicians who I can relate to, and who are interested in producing and playing quality music. I like many styles of music including Classic Rock, R&B, Urban Blues, Latin, and Jazz. Although the Drum Set is my first instrument of choice, I can also double on Timbales, Congas, and Keyboards. I have many years of experience performing live, and in the studio. I’m comfortable reading drum charts, and I can follow a click track. As for style, if I had to label myself, I would say I am a “pocket” drummer somewhat like the style of Charlie Watts, Ringo Starr, or Steve Gadd.
I am at a point in my life where I have all the time and freedom in the world to dedicate to playing music. Gretsch Acoustic Kit and Zildjian Cymbals augmented by a Yamaha Multipad which gives me hundreds of sounds (Cymbals, gongs, cowbells, congas, timbales, bongos, african drums, etc...)
