Classroom Saga is a positive alternative rock band from Leachville, Arkansas who has had "A Long Heroic Journey in the Classroom."

The members are all seniors in high school. They have one original member, Kevin Lambert (guitar). After several changes to their line up, the group eventually grew to the current 4 members. Kolbi Platz (vocals) was the first of the new member...s to join the band. He was followed by Alex Sexton (bass). Once the lineup was complete, the group wrote many new songs and reworked some older ones. The current band members work very well together and enjoy “just hanging out”. The band placed second in a Battle of the Bands in Memphis, TN on July 16, 2011.

The band has several influences including: A Day To Remember, Bullet For My Valentine, Crossfade, Framing Hanley, Rise Against & Sent By Ravens just to name a few. They do not feel that they fit into a specific genre because they enjoy playing a wide variety of music and try to appeal to a wide range of listeners.

Classroom Saga recently completed their first C/D, “A New Beginning”, named after their song “Neo Genesis.” The C/D was engineered by Josh Copeland, a former member of the band Further Down, and is dedicated to their friend Cody Michener who passed away during the summer of 2010.
