BOOST YOUR BOTTOM LINE! Competent bass player with the gear to gig. I played punk and metal in High School, jazz and classical in college and just about everything else in between now. I'm looking to play out in a band. I dig all types of music and can learn your tunes instantly. I read music, chord charts, but best of all, I have great ears. I also have baritone/bass voice for backup singing, great for harmonizing. Let me come out and jam with your band. I'm available nights and weekends for gigs and rehearsals.

OR!
I'm a singer/strummer guitar player. I'm writing songs along the lines of folk, rock, blues and country (not quite sure where I fit). I'd like to meet a bass player and percussionist to form a trio doing originals and perhaps a few covers. You don't have to be a virtuoso, just have a bass and a desire to play. If you'r just starting out, I can teach you. With drums, I'm looking for simplicity: bass, snare and highhat with brushes is all we need, or even handheld percussion like claves, tambourines, etc. This is minimalist, postmodern blues.

Influences:

So many in so many genres. Some of my favorites are: The Rolling Stones, The Pixies, The Misfits, CCR, Johnny Cash, Mojo Nixon, George Thorogood, Led Zepplin, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, The Clash, Motown, I could go on and on.

Equipment List:

OLP Stingray Bass, SWR Redhead 350 watt bass head, 210 David Eden cabinet. Fender telecaster with a Blues Jr. amp and a Boss DS-1 distortion and Tr-2 tremolo pedals. Steel string and nylon string acoustic guitars.
