With over 60 yrs of bluegrass in the blood of its members Continental Blue is a true bluegrass ensemble.
Continental Blue is a sure to please band, with an ability to provide the novelty of old time instruments as well as add the excitement of (What will they play next?) when they cover some of everyone’s favorite top 40 songs from as far back as 60 years, to now!
The members come from varying backgrounds, a lawyer, a electrical engineer, a horticulturist, a preschool teacher & a carpenter.

The members musical backgrounds are diverse and range from punk rock to classical, country to Irish & rock n’ roll to old timey pickin..
The four males and one female keep the flavor alive and balanced.

A high energy, attention grabbing, foot stompin’ bluegrass band with roots in Grand Rapids. We use our unique instruments to dabble in other genre's as well, adding a bluegrass flavor to other favorites such as Pink Floyd, Ella Fitzgerald & The Animals. ...
