Im a self taught guitarist, have music theory knowledge, am capable of shredding (sweeps, taps, alternate picking) im not obsessed with technical playing or high speed riffage, though both are tasty.

im mostly interested in metal along the lines of melodic death, thrash, grindcore.. really anything thats heavy as sh*t. im not down for any emo/screamo/wah my pussy hurts/ music

right now im playing on a customized washburn with emg 81 and 85 pickups

as for an amp, im soon to be in the market for a half stack, hopefully a revolution+ krank, though i might get a marshal, depending on how my financial situation goes. currently im using a line 6 spider 3 30 watt 12 inch practice amp. im considering ghetto rigging my monitors with the amp until i can get a decent set up.

i also have some a pair of 12 inch monitors and four eights in two duocone speaker boxes. i have recording experience, and can get a high quality recording with just about anything. ive alot of experience with audacity and a little bit of experience with cakewalk home studio.
