I have studied violin since the age of 7, I majored in music performance at the University of Maryland, College Park, but dropped out in the middle of my third year to study with a member of the Berlin Philharmonic. I have studied with Kamau Kenyatta, Simone Bernardini, James Stern, Winifred Horan, Kevin Burke, Fred Johnson, Alison Radcliffe, Andra Faye, David Salness, Jesse Smith, Jesse Milnes, Willy Kelly, Richard Smith, and Omar al-Musfi. I have played in bands since I was 12, I am 25 now. I have studied classical music, and played in many pick-up orchestras. I have played in blues bands, traditional irish bands, and a salsa band, among many other classical configurations in chamber music. This past year I played with a band formerly known as E Muzeki, that focused on Greek Rabidica, Celtic, and Eastern Influenced Roots music. And earlier this year, and ongoing, I played with the New World Renaissance Band, and currently with the traditional irish band Wyndnwyre. I am still free to pursue other things, and would like to go on tour with a world music roots type band.

I write my own music and am focusing on roots and 'world' music.

I am looking for a professional band that has ambitions for touring and performing a lot.

I like authentic music. I love Robert Johnson, Mahalia Jackson, Kevin Burke, Ruben Blades, Also, I am a big fan of North African and Armenian styles of music...
