Drummer and percussionist who has been playing for about 26 or so years. I started out as a jazz drummer who then learned rock and 80's heavy metal/hard rock band. I spent some time working in management with a member of the Academy of Country Music where I went country and haven't looked back. Having played a variety of music types, including world, Latin, and orchestral percussion has made me a well-rounded drummer. About a decade ago I made the change to electronic drum kit by Roland and it has made a tremendous difference with my sound palette. It enables me to dial up different drum kits and special effects that I can use to bring a new level of musicianship to the music. My last two projects involved female-fronted bands and I wound up learning a lot of female artist's songs.
I'm currently back in school and schedule is pretty tight. Not currently looking for long-term projects.
