I have been playing bass guitar since I was a kid, and have played all types of music both on stage and in the studio. I love playing, it doesn't matter what I do in life, I always have to play, I'm sure that will never change. Like I said I have played all kinds of different styles of music, everything from rock, blues, jass, country, and everything in between. But I started off in country and I think that is where I want to stay, I just totally fell in love with it and just can't stop, gotta keep on going. Of all the different styles I have played Country music has challenged me the most both musically and vocally. Yea I sing to and can handle most any harmony, I can sing lead but I love backing vocals and singing harmony. I truly believe a musician who can sing good back up vocals is hard to find and I pride myself on just that, not just to play an instrament at a high level, but also to sing at that same level, it's something I think all musicians should try to achieve
I just love music and listen to everything, so pinpointing one major influence would be very hard, I just listen to everything I can
My main bass now is my Warwick 5 string Thumb Bass it has an amazing sound and feel I also have a Modulus quantum 4 string bass, between those two basses they make a great 1-2 punch, but I have several other basses, a Carvin custom 6 string bass, a Music Man bass (good sounding Bass), My Yamaha BB3000AF fretless bass, which I have a soft spot in my heart for, it has a few years on it but it is still in great shape, A very nice 4 string acoustic bass, I can't tell you how many times I have used it on stage, in the studio, and at many radio stations. I use a Trace Elliot bass head and also have a Ampeg SVT II I carry around just in case, I love the sound of 300 watts of pure tube sound. But as of right now I am using the Tonebone Bassbone by Radial Engineering as my sort of pre amp (I still use my amp for some final tweeks) and DI box for live and in the studio, I now know why so many other bass players use this piece, it sounds great. My cab is the concert Ampeg cab with 4 10's and a 15, the same cab that holds 8 10's, I also have a smaller bass cab also by Ampeg. I have a two wirelesses for both my guitars, and a wireless for in ear monitors, all my wireless units are Senheiser. My wife and I also own a recording studio that we put together a few years ago. So I think I have most everything covered, just need ya'll to get a hold on me
